Welcome to SMBash 2024, everyone. It is my absolute pleasure, and without further ado, I get to introduce our first keynote of SMBash 2024 Salt Lake City.
If you buy a company like this, I assume if you get a bank loan, it's profitable and it's working, the outputs are being produced. You've heard the phrase, hire one to hire 10. Well, don't just go to one seller at a time. Go to one person that touches hundreds or dozens of sellers. They know their books, they know if they have a good business or a bad business.
I wanted to find something that was a product or a service. You get to work with really high level people. Because in the indemnification provision, we're unbelievably aggressive. We can look a lot more reasonable a lot of other places in the agreement because we know how much and how robust the protection is for the buyer.
So you want to talk to you guys early, you want to get ahead of it, certainly ahead of LOI. I promise you that there is money out there, as long as there's a good deal and a good operator behind it.
